Since I was a child I've ALWAYS been surrounded by different aspects of  the beauty community. My mother was a cosmetologist, so I learned how to hold a comb and makeup brush before I could even write my ABC's. Not long after graduating from Paul Mitchell cosmetology school, life hit my family hard after my mother's breast cancer aggressively came back after being in remission for one year. Unfortunately, by the end of 2013 she was called home to live in the sky. Soon after this, I ventured out to become a MUA, but soon realized it was extremely difficult to find quality products at an affordable price. Since I was a young, struggling artist I didn't have the finances to spend on top quality brands, but I also had issues with the more affordable lines not having pigmented products or the correct shade ranges that catered to women of color. I had enough of compromising quality for an affordable price or going broke trying to afford the newest, trendy items. So, how did I find the balance between the two when you don't have the balance in your bank account? I MADE MY OWN COSMETICS LINE! I didn't only become my own boss to help MYSELF in the beauty industry, but for the many other artists that also have issues finding QUALITY and AFFORDABLE products within the cosmetics industry.
